Wait, what? Ronald has a sibling Miata called Roland?

Ronald officially goes to his new home tomorrow.
he's going to a buddy of Mazdadeuce and myself who rallycrosses, tracks and autocrosses.
going to a good home. probably to be parted out.. but there is a miata kart on the table as well.
In reply to Patrick (Forum Supporter) :
you and me both Pat... under difference circumstances.. where i'm not living out of a carport in a city.. it could maybe have been fixed.. but it just wasn't something i had the capacity to do..
The character will be easy to replicate with another 1.8 miata.. you'll make your own ronald memories with your kiddos someday.
and here ends my part of the story........
new owner is on the forum, but doesn't post much.
Goodbye Ronald
Ronald is in his new home - prepping for a rear end transplant for the Miatatata - and eventually a heart transplant!
The real question is: do i put the 1.6 into Ronald and make it an even crappier (but still pretty rad) miata?
In reply to Patrick (Forum Supporter) :
I did cause it was coming apart.. i was going to ask you to bring a new one to the challenge..
In reply to spacecadet (Forum Supporter) :
Pm or text me your address i'll throw some in an envelope
Well... turns out that was a big hit on the suspension... even scored the spring! In other news, Ronald has donated a heart and a diff to my miatatata. Diff got a paint job and install over the weekend. The motor is getting a reseal, plus a timing belt/water pump, then will be going in as well. I've been parting out the rest... so Ronald will live on supporting many other Miatae in the future!
Cat Tax: This little dude decided that he was going to help me work on things... he's not mine. but also won't leave me alone.
I remember thinking when I bought Ronald that if it all went pear shaped I could just part it out and do ok. Took a couple owners, track days, rallycross, an accident, and now it's getting parted out, and everyone is doing ok. Even the cat. Especially the cat.
Got to see Ronald one last time. I dropped off the soft top frame and a few other bits that I still had and picked up the three "good" shocks and the one banana one. They went to one of my old co-workers who is trying to make his lifted NB work a little better on the street. Ronald is going to live on in many many other cars.
bdashrian: If you're willing to ship/interested, I could use some of Ronald's parts.
I need a good tan glove box lid, driver's seatbelt, and some small fasteners. If that's too much of a pain, no worries.

I've already most of it, including the chassis (see below) but message me - i still have a big box of fasteners
Today's progress:
loaded onto trailer:
Dragged to the scrap yard, and got some doll hairs for it!
900lbs, $47.
i know emotions and cars happen. Ronald has already more than broke even for me, and i still have the engine, trans and diff! Ronald will live on in the miatatata, and has already propped up some local cars as well.
