Now that you mention it ... they are kind of Lotusish! Most of the rest of this is definitely too heavy for him.

I would definitely like to, but since the "doors" are fixed, I don't have a solution for mounting side windows and still being able to get in. Thinking about having them scissor up, but I don't have a good solution at the moment.
Finished the leading edge of the rear deck. I'll cut vents into the front of the tunnels, but the caps will provide the frames for the screens.

It certainly had the potential to be done poorly, if were being done by someone with poor ability.
Looks rad.
Thanks. I'm learning tricks as I go along. It's mostly figuring out how to make a shape out of something that I have and then putting fiberglass over it. for the front edge that I just did, I layed up fiberglass on a plastic table to give me a flat sheet, then cut it into the right shape. Taped it on with masking tape. Fiberglassed it where the tape wasn't , then pulled the tape off and glassed the rest.
Back from a golf trip and back to my fiberglass. I didn't like the area at the top of the hood where it transitioned into the dash area, so I cut it out and glasses in a new piece. I like the new shape much better and it will smooth the transition from the fenders into the tops of the doors.
Building a spoiler for the front.
made the shape from pink foam,
Then covered it in making tape to keep the resin from melting the foam shape, and covered it with fiberglass.

If you copy one person it's plagiarism... if you copy everyone it's research!! Go for it!
Spoiler is finished for now. I'll wait until I have finished body working the chin before I do the final fitting, but I'm happy with how tightly it fits now. And I'm sure it will add at least a pound of down force to the nose!
This is so far beyond my skillset that I feel I should pay a fee for the education! Really impressive!

The flares are done except for the final body work. I'll post more photos when I get it back together.
