Anyone ran a TD03 on a small motor?

it says up to a 1.2 liter gas motor but I don't think a Mazda B3 is that high of an output for it's size, more concerned with response than max power. I only need to move about 11.5 lbs of air and at less than the TD03's max pressure ratio of 2.9. Should this be ok? If not, any suggestions ( needs to be cheap for Challenge)?

Thanks!

That's probably a good fit I would ask what is the full turbo designation? TD03-XXX? The TD0x determines CHRA, bearings and turbine size. The -XXX will be your compressor size. TD04s and TD04HL are used on a  lot of 2-2.5L engines But the -XXX varies a lot and there's a reasonable difference between a -13t and a -15g in performance.

For the challenge, whatever is the cheapest.

FWIW the 2l in my WRX had a TD03 and Volvo used TD03s on engines up to 2.5l.  It is a frame size, not necessarily a turbo size.

And yes, it amuses me that Subaru used Mitsubishi turbos.  Probably fair play after Mitsubishi used Nakajima (which became Subaru) engines in the Zero.
