Is there a resource for having transmission adapters CNC'd? I could supply a 3D model, just dont have a mill

If you've got a complete design/model, then it's not so much a transmission adaptation specialist (e.g. Kennedy Engineering) as a CNC machining resource? I've got no personal experience, but i think folks have gotten good results via Xometry.com, though i think they may be sort of a hub for connecting jobs with shops rather than a shop themselves.

I used SendCutSend for my brake caliper adapters.

That would have been my suggestion as well, they have quite a few options for machinine shops these days

xometry is just a middle man, if you need any support or technical review I would keep looking onward.

I know a shop that made motor / trans adapters by designing the adapter in "flat slices" having them waterjet cut and then welding the stack together ,

seemed like a smart idea because you could also have the bolt mounting holes cut at the same time.

I sent a file off to Xometry and received a very inexpensive quote for an adapter.  Though my adapter goes between a bellhousing and gearbox casing. I got lucky as the part I received was almost bang on, though if I had wanted better tolerances I would have had to supply a proper drawing which I'm sure would've increased the cost.  I also opted to not have a few holes drilled and tapped as I was unsure of the exact locations (a transfer punch helped with that).

Jesse and fidelity are correct, Xometry is the "middle man", they delegate/farm out the work.

ive worked with them as a partner on a b2b level and they are, E36 M3 in E36 M3 out but if someone does their homework they can take the idiocy out of things and give you something for what you need and are willing to pay for which is nice. This stuff didn't used to exist but its neat to see it enable us fungineers out there these days.

You're welcome to stop by the shop and use my CNC mill if you're in my area :)
