1952 Plymouth Cranbrook.
OK, this car came to me via Neil and jwthw8te. Another "good intentions" I just couldn't get to and now I am moving. It was restored, but then Hurricane Sandy had it totaled. Thwaite saved it, but the project has stalled.
The bad: The car isn't running at the moment. The carburetor is off and needs to be rebuilt. It needs a new muffler. The inline hydraulic brake switch is bad and the brake lights currently are hooked up to a manual switch. The fuel tank needs to be drained and flushed. The original mechanical fuel pump needs to be replaced. The dash cluster needs to be rebuilt or replaced.
The good: The body is pretty much as it was when Jim shipped it down south. Same for the interior - both a little rough but still sound. The transmission shifted well when it was last driven. All the glass is intact. The wheels and tires (two sets) all are good. The 12 negative conversion thus far includes everything except the horns, windshield wipers, and blower motor. It has a new starter motor. It has a spare transmission (needs to be rebuilt), dash cluster, and a couple of boxes of other small replacement parts. The electric fuel pump was working fine when it was last driven (I literally haven't touched it). The brakes work but don't want to release. I bet pulling the hubs and spraying some CRC Brake Cleen will end that issue. Comes with the steelies pictured above and a set of re pop white walls.
This one has a caveat. NO LEMONS or CHAMP. Sorry guys, I don't need the bad karma. That was the obligation when I got it, and I must pass it on. LeMons Rallys are OK, heck, you'd probably have three of the last owners sign up with you.
Same drill as the Champ. I need an obligation by tomorrow May 15 end of business. evilmental at gmail dot com, has to be picked up by Sunday.
