Mine. Has a title. Been years since it's been on the road. Complete project in all senses of those words. It's all there but it all needs attention. No real rust except a little in the floors. Only have a ribcage transmission for it. Choice of engine, either 948 or 1098. Have some spares I can throw in for extra money. Not exactly sure what I want for it as I'd rather keep it but we may be moving soon and I can only take so much with me. Even have front and rear bumpers.
Severna Park, Maryland. Right now it's a bit buried under boxes. Pics would be a little difficult. I can try later.
The original color is light blue and the interior would've likely been black. I also have a hard top. You could also go with Vega wheels instead of factory steels.
If bravenrace is not interested I would like to be a victim...err candidate please.
FWIW, I also have a 1275 that I was thinking of rebuilding and installing in my 58.
From looking at sold items on ebay, it looks like a complete restoration project is around 4 to 4.5k.
I know it's tough since there aren't pics but feel free to give input
I'm afraid you are not giving much in the way of detail for a potential purchaser to consider. You are floating out a small carrot of information and it just isnt enough for someone to bite on.
I know its not what you are looking for, but I think you need to do some digging, inventorying, and picture taking to flesh out just what it is that you are looking to sell.
Take an afternoon and dig it out, take a bunch of pictures, and inventory the spares that are available, what you want for the spares, and what goes with the car and you will likely have some stronger bites.
I just bought a '61 Bugeye and I am in Gaithersburg, so I am really interested in what parts you have that you might be willing to part with. I am still digging into my car to see what I have and working on my shopping list for what I need/want, but really want to know what you have.
I dont need a motor/trans, but am working up a LONG list of small bits and bobs. For instance, I need 3x side curtain thumb screws, a mechanical tach cable, possibly a master, might want a diff better suited for higher speeds, Seat foam/covers, and a list that seems to grow every time I get up to look at my car.
If you get me a for sale list I could float offers on some things...

There is a complete and running project Bugeye for sale on Hemmings right now for $10.5k. makes it kinda hard to consider a pile of questions for half as much.

Remember that a bugeye is essentially a 4 wheel motorcycle. No radio, no side glass and not even outside door handles. They make a vw type 1 look complicated
In reply to Apexcarver:
Most of my bugeye spares I'll be keeping for my 58. I have a ton of parts for later spridgets. Literally almost a ton.
I may be in touch soon, mine has a 1275cc + ribcase, and I have a few upgrades I am considering.
FWIW, I am negotiable and I know I need to take pics. If anyone has any ideas of where to advertise please let me know.

I'm super interested, but very cash poor right now. I am a licensed electrician and a pretty good handyman. I know it's a long shot, but I figured I'd offer.
What kind of cash are you talking about
Well, you have my location.
You didn't say whether it was 4k or 4.5k you were willing to pay. (as mentioned above)
Not at all. I can pass just like the common CL response. I was asking for input. Not sure how non specific my comment of having to touch all parts on it can be. I'd assume someone would assume you'll go through the entire car. The only reason for pics would be rot and large dents.

These seem to be the hangouts for these. (if anyone knows better places, LET ME KNOW! I just got mine and I am learning)

I found why this ad is so poor...
You asked for feedback.

No offense, but in my recent experience shopping this and similar vehicles, your price is waaaaaaay high.
