A friend of mine owns this car, and he's looking to move it on for reasons unrelated to the car itself. Owner is asking $7500 or they will trade for a manual transmission Mustang, Camaro or Firebird.
Will trade for a manual trans Mustang, Camaro or CTS-V.
Message me and I'll give you his phone number.
350 Engine with 2 barrel carb
4 wheel power drum brakes
Power steering
Factory AC
The car is allegedly all original and fairly Southern rust-free, but some minor body work has been done in the past.
There are signs of wear and tear, as seen in the pictures below. Notable is the driver's door handle is broken, and the door cards have some wear.
Add some pictures. My high school girlfriend had one. They aren't collector cars like the Camarostangcudabird but values are slowly rising
In reply to SKJSS (formerly Klayfish) :
There are a ton of pictures. They just took a minute to upload.
That looks clean. Probably a $2,500 car.
LOL 😂
That's one of my favorite GM cars of the sixties. Wouldn't be ashamed to ask $10k for it, I mean it's even a green interior with mismatched exterior car.
That feels like a $5k car to me. Maybe try for $8k. The problem is that it is complete but needs a lot to clean it up, and Buick parts are nowhere near as easy to source as Chevelle. Cool car to be a little different with some Buick flair.
When I hear Buick Skylark, all I think of is this guy.
I've relayed the wide variations in price to the owner. I know how much he paid for it, let's see what he thinks it's worth.
I posted the asking price. Message me if you're interested, and I'll send the seller's contact information.
Seems like a pretty good deal to me. Not as desireable as some of the other A-bodies, but in way better condition than the other A-bodies that cost $7500!
