Spotted in my neighborhood. 1968 UltraVan for sale. $21,900 seems pretty steep. This one is well loved and engineer owned if I remember my conversations with the owner correctly.

Yeah, these are Chevy Corvair powered. 140 hp seems barely adequate for 1968, but I bet it gets great gas mileage for an RV. If I remember right they weigh very little too.
They are supposed to be super light, they were advertised as being built like an airplane fuselage. I bet it gets all sorts of attention at the campground.
The RV nerd in me is talking to my Corvair dweebness and saying really tempting things. Walking away.

The enabler in me is posting this picture.
Is this the same van, or its doppelganger?
It's in berkeley, MI.
It's PERFECT!!
(My wife says it's horrible. I guess I know where I'll be sleeping...)
Seeing ones like this with the spare tire carrier on the front makes me want to put a pair of pointy ears up on each cab corner.
I've seen this one many times around the are, plus the dream cruise and Concourse deLemons etc. Talked to the owner and been inside. I love it and would be all over it in a heart beat if I didn't want to stay married.
