Check out the build thread here for some more pics/info.
I bought this car last year thinking in my youthful optimism that I could in fact daily drive a topless British roadster without a garage (or any covered parking) at home or at work. Obviously after reality set in, I haven't gotten to give this car the love it deserves. I'm moving in a couple months so I'm thinning the herd (at least that's what I keep telling myself), and with that the spitfire is high on the chopping block.
I bought it from the guy who built it (I even have a CD full of pictures and info from him), and while his welding work leaves something to be desired, he did a thorough job of coating the underbelly with POR-15 and gave it a decent respray in the blue it currently has. It's definitely a 10' car, but it is a blast to drive especially on twisty roads (of which we have very few here in central IN). As it sits she should run and drive fine with a fresh battery (will update when I get home and verify) but needs some actual exhaust system hooked up since it's just open headers right now. I drove it here from Detroit when I bought it so I trust the overall integrity of the car but there are plenty of shakes rattles and rolls to iron out still. I'm asking a GRM special of $4000 for it, I got it for 4500 but I may have overpaid slightly for the quality of the build (bought it sight unseen). Again, see the thread for more info about the original build and I'll be happy to answer any more questions here.
