Having driven one, the engine screamed malaise. I'd driven a few muscle cars, back when most called 'em hot rods, and the Grande package came with a very lame engine. It was faster than the $50 chevette I was driving at the time, but the chevette was actually a lot more fun! At least it was not pretending.
