This thing has been languishing for a while (probably for a reason). Thought someone might be interested. Challenge money as it is.

In reply to Docwemple :
'73 had the giant bumpers front and rear? American Fords kept the small rear bumpers until '74.
I mean, I know some other manufacturers went to big bumpers front and rear before they were necessary, it amuses me that historically-cheap Ford would have done that.
I don't disagree that it's probably actually worth what he's asking, but, I mean, where do you get parts for these anymore? You can get reproduction Escrot panels, but I don't know about Capri.
Somewhere I dimly recall that all US bound Capris were made in Cologne, and were mechanically different from UK built vehicles (metric vs. not), but the mechanical bits should still be available.
Would this have the 2600 or 2800 engine?
That's a '74, so should have the 2.8l. Yes, they were built in Cologne. My parents had a '73, but I never got to drive it as it was totalled by a drunk driver in 1977. But I do have fond memories of riding in that car.
I think it's funny that most of those ad pictures were taken at night. Way to sell it.
