I bought this car intending to build a challenge car, but it's not going to happen for me this year. I also don't want it sitting around my house for another year while I work on my current project. So I am looking to get what I have in to this car. located in Chicago suburbs.
The important details are. 1974 Datsun 260z. The car was auto, but the trans is gone. Rear brakes/hubs are frozen. Comes with a set of steel wheels, and a set of chrome wheels, but no tires! The car is on jack stands, since it can't roll anyway. I have a clean title in my name. It's rusty, but not scary rusty.

I have a 4 speed trans in Detroit if someone gets this, for cheap af since that seems to be going rate.
Oh damn.
I'm going to pretend I didn't see this
How are the floors and frame rails with rust?
Both front floors have holes, the rails seem okish.
Please don't make me sell this on marketplace.
berkeley. I don't need another S30
In reply to Patrick :
Don't do it, buddy. Don't do it.
Someone should mix this with the $1500 XJR also for sale right now. Just saying.
Do shipping costs factor into challenge budget? Asking for a friend
That's actually a very good question. It specifically says in the rules that shipping costs count for parts, but does not specify the car itself. However I would imagine it does.

I *think* that if you go retrieve it, costs don't count. But that shipping does/would.
It's been a few years since I read the rules.
