1975 MGB roadster roller, no engine or transmission. Tahiti Blue, was autumn leaf interior. 1972 B-GT black leather seats come with it. Clear title in my name. SOLD SOLD SOLD.
I was going to do a V6 swap and sold the engine/trans a while back, but no modifications were done yet to the car for the swap. Located in Toccoa, GA area. Car is on a lift so easy to inspect the underside.

Tires, painted original wheels, steering rack and tie rod ends, control arm bushings,
rear axle limit straps, fuel tank, sending unit, new motor mounts (still on car) tailight and side market lenses and bulbs,
floor pan on drivers side, have new floor pan for passengers side not installed
turn signal and wiper/overdrive switches
heater core
new woodgrain steering wheel not installed
all weatherstrip for windshield and door sweeps, new wiper blades
Previous owner did, have all paperwork with car from them.
new brake shoes and pads, rubber brake lines and steel axle brake lines.
convertible top
fuel pump and lines
trunk lock, ignition lock
plus other stuff I am forgetting about
More pictures of the car.
New parts to go with car.
More shots of car including dent in hood and fender

Relatively easy 302 or LS swap for challenge budget.
It would be a good candidate for the challenge, that would be cool to see it there.
While I would like to do the V6 swap, time and funds aren't really there for it. Doing more with my CTS-V is the focus now.
The car looks in great condition. Good luck with the sale
If I had the garage space I would be on my way.

I was hoping to. Then the price of lumber went bonkers.
I'm not ambitious enough to attempt a ls in that, but do have some thoughts. I'll be up in SC for 5 weeks, starting February 14th. If still around, (and I don't get that cool azz Austin) I'll check with ya bout getting by to look it over.
Looks like a great deal, so my wife hopes it will be gone by then

The LS is no harder to swap than the Ford and the results would be an order of magnitude better. Getting LS under the bonnet is not going to happen, but for most cases does it really matter?
Keith Tanner got a LS under the stock hood, so it is possible. LS MGB Just depends on how ambitious you are.
Unfortunately, I know I am not as talented, motivated, OR as ambitious as them
Having all that power (the ford or the easy button hp ls) would be nothing but bragging rights for me... the only race I will ever run anymore would be at a challenge. Way to many tickets in my younger days! And "the financial manager is not interest at all in auto crossing. Maybe a rally cross or gambler one day, if the economy ever allows my outgoing to be less than income again. A pretty rumble in a dd/tool around car would be nice, but that's not even as important as it used to be.
I do hope to run something in a challenge one day, but I plan to try for "slowest car ever to complete all categories " award (I think barefoot hold it at the moment?)
Put a lawnmower engine in it, easy way to win slowest award.
If anyone wants any pictures of a particular part or area, let me know.
I just pmed you but reading comprehension fail so you can ignore my title question. Haha.

I did get your message. The title is clear and in my name, so no problems with it.

I had not thought of that one. Although I wouldn't do it to a rather nice mgb, it would be funny
... and then I thought - some of the larger air cooled V's are getting into some reasonable HP...
I do have a '97 3800 V6 / MT, with wiring harness, and a computer from an AT car, but I'm not sure I'm smart enough to (or have the patience for) getting that harness in a British car, and not having even worse than Lucas gremlins!!!
Well, car is sold. On to the next adventure.

Your my wife's new favorite... and I never even told her, so she doesn't know
Did Robbie get it? Would love to see him do something cool with it
