Up for sale is my mini project. It’s a 77 mini that’s been caged and has been repowered by a Suzuki swift gt 1300cc twincam. It uses the Suzuki engine, transmission, axles, brakes and uprights. It has been converted to double A arms on the front with trailing arms and Suzuki disks on the rear. It uses coilovers all around. The conversion was done by Mr Mini who has done a number of these swaps It uses a new subframe foward of the firewall. This car was originally swapped and used as a street car, but then was stripped and caged by the previous owner. The car is all steel with the front end being converted to lift off. The fender flares are also steel. This is a solid mini chassis that will not require any cutting out of old rotten metal. The car is currently not running as the previous owner removed the wiring as he was going to run a stand alone. The car will need the wiring harness installed and a fuel cell added for the car to run. I do still have an ownership for this car, so it could be converted back to a street car if desired. It also includes a brand new set of 13x6” panasports that are still new in the box. Beautiful 1.5” .095” cage All aluminum Suzuki engine (100hp) and transmission with (genie?) tubular header and straight exhaust with resonator. Includes grill, headlights, marker lights, glass Includes both mini and Suzuki wiring harnesses and gauge clusters Lots of spare Suzuki parts
This should make a pretty easy project for someone. Unfortunately, I have too many projects and not enough time and space for this one. Would also be a good starting point for someone wanting to swap in a different engine (Honda etc). It’s located in Cambridge, Ontario. Asking $3800 Canadian!($3444 USD) The clean shell is worth more than half of that.
