That should be a good regional car, not so much competitive nationally anymore. Good learning car or just out to have fun. Nothing like driving a DSR.

I raced a DSR in the early- mid 90's with the FZR 1000 engine. Good in it's day but has long ago been surpassed.

Baffled the oil pan with a sandwich plate and plumbed an oil accumulator to main oil galley. Cozzy pistons, welded/ reground cams, Keihin race carbs, FZR 750 two-stage oil pump with oil cooler, Falicon billet clutch basket, V&H ignition, equal length 4>1 header etc.

Many engine speed parts available but should be fine even stock at 120 hp.

Chassis was obsoleted by SCCA rule changes so it was time to get out.

Looks like great fun for not a lotta dough.

Interesting contraption. Looks like it started out as a Formula Ford and was then converted into a Sports Racer. It's got outboard suspension on both ends, so presuming pre-1981.  Zink?

I ran a FZR powered DSR in the late 90s. We used the stock sump without issue.
