good story, a black minister told at my father in laws funeral:
back in 1972, after moving from Chi town to Miami, my FIL (the ol' man of the Everglades) invited him out to his house in The Redlands (for real backwoods, in those days) for bible study. Said he is driving along on those pitch black roads, wondering if he's gonna live through the night! Ended up staying friends for the next 40+ years!

Still have not heard anything from a mod about changing the price in title to $2300... not sure how the judge who's title to change, and who's they don't?
But, a life update... since the full time job let me go, and the long commute contract is finishing, I will be starting a job with only 13 mile commute. So I found a deal on a Ninjette (250) for the mpg!
Will still sell the K75 to y'all for the $2300, or a bike more suited to touring; but I'll go back up a bit for the other ads.
Gotta do some minor stuff to the Ninjette, but I'll post a picture here in a bit, and start a new thread for it.

I can't justify traveling for something like that on this limited income I have... but y'all enablers could hook me up, and get a nice deal on a great bike!
Stock photo, but my "new" commuter is an 05, with only 5523 orig. miles, and looks about as nice. Should clean up enough to look the same! Needs turn signals re attached (or replaced) and a tune up. But no road rash... just sat in storage too much!
Just got offered a trade for a 09 'wing. Def. not looking for some big ol' road couch, but they say the 01 up improved on that a ot. Still mighty big for my needs!
Wont get to check each other's bikes out till next weekend... considering the value differences in the bikes, I gotta find out the "Paul Harvey " on this one!

The seat height is actually lower than the k75, that is lower than the k1100LT... but they are SO dagum wide!!! Not sure my legs will be long enough. But backing is my only issue with the Ks, and with reverse the couch might be ok. The first few years of the 'Wing were not too bad, but I never cared for the egros of the rest of 'em. Never thrown a leg across one after the 01 change.
