I bought this needing a truck, but it's just in too good of shape to be used and abused. I've hauled mulch, brush and lumber and the nice bed won't be nice for very long at this rate. I'm sure there is a Dodge (Mopar) person out there that would rather preserve it in this shape and I will get something else to not worry about. (Preferably a 9th or 10th generation F150 in case anyone would consider a trade).
Just the facts:
1987 Dodge
Less than 82,000 miles.
One owner previous to me.
Just did the oil change.
Replaced the fuel pump and filter.
New tires (less than 300 miles).
Windshield wipers not working (cleaned the ground and got them working, but not working again).
Title in my name.
GRM friends and family price: $2800
Questions?
I am not in the market, but I am curious; what motor and trans?
Sorry. I knew I'd forget something..
318 / 5.2 2 barrel auto.
Also, new battery.
Someone buy this and join me (and others on here) in the Land of Old Mopar Truck Ownership. It's something, I'll tell you!
That seems like a decent deal. Toss some "Shine Juice" on it and send it. GLWS!
oooh. How do the pans and rockers look? RH bedside rust?
The only rust I've seen is at the bottom of the doors where, I'm guessing, the rain has leaked down from the old window rubber over the years and along the seam of the rear chrome bumper. (Other than the *real* patina on the hood and top of course..)
I had one of those with a slant six -& a stick when my son was learning to drive, loved it!! Wish I needed one, but good luck with the sale.
Don't suppose you need a 2007 mazdaspeed 3? I don't need a dodge truck.... but I want one
In reply to chandler :
"Need" is not a word I use very often while "want one" is something I think a lot. Too bad I'm looking for a truck and have a S197 project (you can see in some of the pictures). The wife had a couple of Mazda 3s and her 1st one was a 2.5 hatch and very nice. The MS sounds cool, but I *should* pass on it. But. Tell me more....
Well, it runs...and drives but it's a project
When you sell yours and are on the lookout I have a 2000 Ford F150 V6 manual reg cab 8ft bed with only 102,000 miles. Work truck spec basically. I should make a for sale thread on here...
Ack. No new projects. I don't seem to have time for the one I have. And I'm retired...
clutchsmoke: That's pretty much exactly what I'm looking for.

Couldn't find one around Lower Alabam', with out "runs and drives great. No transmission" or "no title, but you can just get one" in the ad!
Ended up with a 250 V10, instead.
Not sure I'll be able to keep fuel in it, so I might be interested.
Before I "bonded" with my F250, the Dodge would have done well for me, but I have to admit, the newer creature comforts, have spoiled me!
