RHD, automatic.
I have been wanting an overlanding camper type vehicle. This one has the higher roofline and is guaranteed to be able to lay down in the back.

In the age of insane pricing and auction sniping, I'm very curious where this finishes. Crown saloons are (one of many) things very high on my list.

I would assume a V8, that has an actual hemisphereical shaped combustion chamber. (ILO just using hemi as a advertising strategy). At least some of the earlier crowns were. Not sure when they started using the 12.
Here's a V8-powered 1994 Toyota Century Hearse for $18,997:
Also worth mentioning, this 1990 Toyota Crown Hearse for $9999. Looks like it also has a straight-six:

At the listed price, there was absolutely no reason for me to take the time to open the link to full ad
I just know of a couple V8's sourced from crown's, that were neat, 'cause they had combustion chambers that resemble half a sphere. Looked kinda like a baby hemi from olden days!

Yea, but getting up in the morning has proven to be a challenge.
I believe some folks in this thread are confusing the Crown with the Century. Crowns came with various four cylinder and inline six power plants. They are very common in Japan, and run the range from very plain spec (cloth upholstery, basic amenities, economy-tuned engine) to reasonably luxurious spec. Crowns were once ubiquitous as taxis and fleet vehicles, but also could be seen as personal vehicles with specifications closer to what we got as Lexus, or as other work vehicles like this wagon. There were even diesel variants, as well as various forced-induction options. If there was ever a V-8 option, it was what we think of as a Lexus V8, quad-cam, 32-valve, 1UZFE, and I'm certain it wasn't common.
The Century is a very exclusive handbuilt limousine, speced with the utmost in luxury, which came with Toyota Hemi V8s from the 60's through into the 90's, I think. Later they were powered by a Toyota V-12.
Semi-related; I've always fantasized about building something with a tuned 1G-GFE 2-liter straight six...2-liters and related to the engine in the car advertised. It is essentially sort of a proto-4A-GE times 1.5, only with a narrow bore, and exhaust and intake swapping sides. They sound awesome, and I'd love to try my hand at applying lots of tricks from the 4A-G tuning playbook including ITBs. It wouldn't be fast by modern standards, but I'm certain it would rev to the moon, sound amazing doing so, and would be quite full of character.
