GM never figured out that FWD=NOT sportscar. They should have figured that out with the Reatta.
Putting the Elan up against the Miata was very much a plastic butter-knife at the gunfight.
With no real enthusiast support, I also have to wonder how maintanable one of these would be now and going into the future?
A car I never understood.
A commonly used Isuzu engine means at least that should be easily serviceable.
