Not sure if this is trouble or a potential fantastic find. I do recall someone putting a 3000 GT drivetrain into one of these, though! Look at the pics - see the Datsun Roadster (I think) in the background? And the sticker on the rocket box? The seller has the GRM spirit!

NMNA, but close to me and I'm happy to go look at it:

"I have for sale my 1994 Eagle Summit Wagon. It's essentially a "mini" van. A smaller version than most regular size vans. Has one sliding door on the passenger side and a rear lift door. 135K miles. 2.4 ltr. Mitusbishi engine. 3 spd automatic with overdrive. This van was made when Mitubishi was partnered with Dodge so it's basically a Dodge vehicle with Eagle badges. Front wheel drive. Everything ran fine until one day the radiator overheated and it blew a hole in it. I don't think the head gasket is blown but I can't be sure. I fixed the hole in the radiator temporarily so it runs and can be driven but it's gonna need some work. I would recommend a new radiator and it might need a new head gasket. The engine is awesome, great mileage 24-28 mpg. Great power. Great Mitsubishi build quality. I am the third owner and I have all the early maintenance records from the original owner. Oil always changed at 3-4K miles. Comes with sheepskin seat covers and the roof rack, car top carrier and a newer battery. The back seat is removable. Tow bar installed. I've been offered about $500 from the car companies that come and get them the next day but think it's worth more to someone that can do the work themselves. I'm open to offers. I have a month to sell before moving so come by and have a look."

If it was AWD, I'd be challenge bound with that bad boy. I had a 12 second $2k expo back in the day. It was a lot of fun.

I like how in one sentence, it's complimented for being a Dodge, with eagle badges, the next, it's "Great Mitsubishi build quality"

What ever it takes.

No one is gonna mention the Cummins badge on the fender??

Wonder if an older 4G63 would fit in there...

Yes.  Well documented swap and what Mr. BMW was referring to.  The AWD flavor of these made for some hellacious sleepers back in the golden ages of DSMs.

In reply to Scotty Con Queso :

Yeah. Almost got a RVR with the factory 4G63T (7 Bolt) a couple years back because I missed the original one.

My swapped one looked about like that. Burnt clear, some small rust spots, and 18 PSI of boost (IIRC) from a big 16G. It loved mustangs :)

I grew up in an Expo LRV. Finding one of these with a manual and awd that isn't completely rusted out is a low key life goal of mine.  No luck yet.

I cut my teeth as a tech in a Jeep/Eagle dealer. I remember being shocked at how fun these cars were. Especially with a manual.
