Price reduction! $6,700
In reply to simontibbett: It's good to finally get some positive feedback. I was starting to worry that nobody would like it.
Are you advertising on the SCCA/NASA/Spec forums?
I've wanted a Miata race/track car for years, and your asking price is rock bottom -- it pains me to have to pass up a deal like this but the timing isn't right for me.

I haven't posted it there yet, but it's going to get posted there as soon as I have a little time. I always come to Grassroots Motorsports first.
I am full of Miatas- but this would be a great way for someone to get into driving on track. It's an inexpensive hpde car that just happens to be legal for W2W in one of the most popular classes in the country.

Keith, I appreciate the good words for the car!

I just checked it. What am I looking for? I don't see anything. I checked my junk folder too, just in case.

Huh... I responded to your message, must have gotten lost in the cloud or something.
PM'ed you back, hopefully this one works.
Wow, I think I might know what happened. Can you take a look at the mail domain in my listing above, (live.com) and see if it went there and not to an .edu account? This board might be sending emails to an old address I can't access anymore.
Regardless, can you email me at mtmclaughlin@live.com? I'll try to fix the address that's on this forum in the mean time.
Thanks!
Edit: I just fixed my e-mail address that the forum uses to contact me. I'm sure it'll be up to date soon if not by now. I can't believe I never noticed that it was such an old address!
In reply to confuZion3:
Yep, it was the old .edu address. I'll shoot you a new one in a bit. Thanx!!!
Any interest in trading plus cash? (I know, I know) But, I really want a spec Miata and the one I have is just a little too nice and original to tear apart. I have a '94 black and tan C package with Koni/FM suspension and brand new Enkei RPF1's with BFG G-force and some other nice subtle upgrades. It's an honest 3 owner car with no rust whatsoever. I'd be happy to trade for a car like this and throw in a couple grand.

Sorry, I just picked up my new Miata two weeks ago. I was looking for a totally stock, low miles 1.6 and I found it! Like Mia and Tia from "Cars".
Cash or cash equivalent only on this one, but I appreciate the offer.
trigun7469 wrote: In reply to confuZion3: Do you think it will fit a 6'2" 230lbs dude?
It might. It depends on your torso/leg ratio. I have seen absolutely huge guys race these cars, but the seat might just need to be mounted differently.
For reference, I am 5'10" and 195 and I fit just fine with one removable pad on the seat. Removing the pad gives you a little more room and it's an easy way to start. Come on out and try it on!
