I am selling my 1998 Kawasaki Councours. 58,000 miles in excellent condition. Factory saddlebags and an aftermarket Givi case in the back.
This is a great vintage long distance touring bike. I am selling it because I have too many vehicles including four other motorcycles and a boat in the garage not to mention all the cars. $2,100
I will work with shipping companies. I have shipped motorcycles and cars across the country before.
I sold my only motorcycle 17 years ago. I miss it greatly. This would probably be a fun fly and drive trip, but I don't even know if I remember how to ride anymore.

I do shipping. There is also a U-Haul place near my house that rents motorcycle trailers cheap.
Price reduction to $2,300!
Nice bike.
(I am not a buyer - I ride crotch rockets), that said, what is the dry weight of that thing?
Internet lists wet weight at 670 lbs, which is not too bad. My 2004 VTX 1300 is 705 lbs wet.
That is a nice bike, but nothing I can afford now, I got to sell some stuff not add. Would be a great touring bike.

Have you tried Adventure Rider classifieds?
It's odd and interesting enough to say I'd consider Bring a Trailer as well. Once in awhile they do like to list a few lower priced vehicles.
I may decide to just keep the damned thing. It really is too good to give away.
Not that it helps reduce your fleet, but I have a 97 BMW F-650 (BMW attempt at an adventure on/off) that I would love to trade... maybe it'd be a more "sale able" bike in TX? Donno. Just a thought, since cash is not an option for me presently.
Just traded of the bmw, as I never found a sale. Still leaves with a lot in the way of cash. I would love to have that Kawi. if there’s any of my project junk...er... cars you might be interested in. Lower Alabam is a long way off, but had to ask!
You arent far, I need to move my own stuff to get this though.....

Unfortunately I am trying to get rid of projects right now. Not find more of them. Selling the bike cleans out the garage so the Miata can go in and get worked on. But thanks.
This is back up for sale again, with a brand new back tire and new Texas tags. You would be surprised how many people won't look at a bike without current stickers.
In reply to Snowdoggie :
Well, it kinda screams of potential title issues.

I d say it more whispers possible title problems. Easy to identify the difference between a scam, and a guy that ain’t road his bike in a bit, pence your face to face with the bike, the owner, and the title he has in his hand.
I still don't get it. The bike is titled in my name. I am the person who is selling the motorcycle. What's the problem?
Where is the scam?

If my post confused, that is essentially what I am saying. I can only assume that, if people don't come meet ya, they might be worried about "what else" . If its coming up after they meet ya, I can only guess someone mistakenly told them old stickers mean title problems or scam, and they went along, without thinking it through!

If somebody doesn't trust you, they just don't trust you. It could be a perfect bike and they will still be looking for something funny.
Time to move on to the next buyer. The Tao of selling old motorcycles.
Who is selling an old bike?
all bout perspectives ain’t it! I’ve only owned one bike that was younger, and that was a P. O. S. Honda shadow.
Course most bikes I’ve bought did not have current tags, either!
I'm keeping my 1968 Honda CT90. That is my old bike.
Honda actually makes a replica of it now.

I lusted after the step through 90’s as a kid; probably could have talked my dad into helping, but mom was having none of it!!! Moved out in 82, bought my first bike in 83!
