1999 Porsche 911
RWD, manual.
145,000 miles
New engine at 50,000 miles.
New transmission at 80,000 miles.
IMS retrofit, larger AOS.
New engine seals/RMS
New clutch.
New bearings.
New brake pads.
New M030 sport suspension with new adjustable Konis. I have the brand spanking new M030 bilsteins as well.
New XSE/XSF GT3 cobra seats. I have the stock seats but they're worn. (I have a picture of these seats installed by the factory/as delivered in a 996 C2 with the window sticker showing these as an option).
Custom lightweight exhaust.
Between the exhaust and the seats I have dropped considerable weight and added some power.
New stereo with USB/Bluetooth
Stacks of receipts for the work.
I have multiple sets of wheels and tires - including two sets of extreme performance tires (RS3 v2 and RE71r), 18" Hollow Spokes (light and extremely rare), 18" Champions (super lightweight $$$ wheels), 19" Eurosport unmounted, and a set of factory 17s with Potenza uhp tires. We can discuss which will come with the car based on how much you're willing to pay.
I bought this car from a fellow sandboxer last October for $15,500 and proceeded to sink a ton of money into the car. Asking $15,000 obo, willing to deal with folks.
Car is going into the shop (http://www.ekstenautoworks.com/) next week for a once over to make sure it is 100% perfect for its new owner.
I have TONS of pictures.
Sounds like a great package. Why did you decide to sell?
The want is strong, but it is not workable for me right now.
GLWS!!!
Is it AStreet legal as it sits?
When was the timing belt water pump idlers done? AC work good?
Where are you located?
In reply to nocones:
The website for the shop he posted is in Rochester, NY so I hope he's relatively close to it.

I have not been protested for AS legality, and I have the documentation showing these seats as delivered in a car with the factory window sticker showing them as a factory option (if you'll recall, earlier this year the SEB stated that Porsche Exclusive options are legal for stock classes).
I don't know when the pump/belt/idlers have been addressed.
It doesn't have a timing belt. The ancillary let should be changed every 60k. Check pump and pulleys at that time. My pump has 102k and is fine, as are the pulleys. I'll probably change both at 120k when I change the belt again.
Does this car have a sunroof? Cant see from the pictures.
I didn't know these could be had at this price.
The 996/1 is noticeably cheaper than the 996/2 for good reasons. There are many small changes that make the 996/2 a nicer car to live with and the 3.6 has had a lot fewer problems than the 3.4 plus a good amount of increase in bhp. Although, this one looks like a good one and the price is great.
Man this looks nice for the price! Wish I was in a position to buy.
Cretinx, is this still for sale?
If so, can you post up some contact info? I just signed up for this board and apparently need to wait for "Admin approval" before I can PM anyone.
I'm a regular at Eksten's by the way.
