Buy my Boxster! I am selling it to make room for a 1999 FRC corvette with 72k that my buddy is selling.
It runs well, has cold AC, and has a nice interior. The paint has several scratches and both bumpers have marks on them from the previous owner bumping into stuff.
I recently installed extended wheel studs, four new speakers, fixed the leather seats and installed a new A/c compressor. It has a current oil change and new Bridgestone RE760 tires. It doesn't leak anything. The check engine light is on because evap leak.
150k miles. You could drive it anywhere. Top is in decent shape and works as it should. $4300 for a GRM'er. Located in Jacksonville Florida.
Corvette in question...
Just sent this to dad (wndopdlr). Him and mom are gonna talk. She always wanted a Porsche....
If he decides hes interested, can i give him your number? He was impressed by the stepside transaction.....
Please let him buy it, please let him buy it, please let him buy it...
You dork, I offered to buy it before you put anything into it
Wow, that is really REALLY tempting.
Thanks for the heads up Patrick!
A Boxster for a Miata price? What a time to be alive!
Not at all sure about the headlights on that C5, though. I'd be putting those back to stock ASAP.

In reply to AnthonyGS :
I don't think so, the car doesn't smoke and it didn't feel like there was a ton of crankcase pressure at the oil cap.
Didn't you just get out of a c5 and into that mr2 then into this? I thought I had bad car add! ;-)

It was mr2 then c5 then m3 then this
Note I never said it was a problem!!!
I would be all over this car if I wasn't still head over heels in love with my MR2 Spyder. I'm sure it's more comfortable and it's definitely more practical and it might even be cheaper.
How was the v6 MR2 compared to the boxster?
I've been avoiding this thread like the plague but I was sitting on the couch next to SWMBO so I pulled it up hoping it was sold.
Me showing her the pics: "ever want a Porsche?"
Swmbo: "yea..."
Me: "4300"
SWMBO: "what's wrong with it?"
Me: "nothing major, but it has 150 on it"
"So, that's not bad"
"It's Jeremy's"
I get the look
"I'm not ready for another trip down there"
"I could pick it up"
"Is it stick?"
"Yea"
"I can't drive stick yet" (she's had a few lessons in the backyard, she could do it but she's intimidated)
"I'd drive it for you in the meantime"
"I thought you didn't like convertibles"
"I don't, but I'm not seeing many 4k caymans"
"What's a Cayman?"
This is two hours away from me. Please, GET IT SOLD!

This was my line of thought, too, but I still couldn't quite bring myself to do it. So I pointed it out to Tedroach.
In reply to LimitedTimeOnly :
Thanks for pointing that out. Now my wife is not very happy with me. I have to sell my 944 and quick!

They do make Cayman style hardtips for roughly 2500.00.
Congrats ted!!!!
I can say that buying from jeremy was one of the best experiences ive had.
Does this mean the chevelle is further off?
In reply to Dusterbd13 :
Actually, it means that the Chevelle is next in line. Since I will not be putting tons of time into the Porsche for now, I can focus on getting the Chevelle up and running. Of course, my wife stated that I have to finish the renovation on the master bath first. We all know which is the priority.
Yup. Master bath. Sleeping with yourself gets old
When you need a chevelle hand, i may know a guy....

Sold to Tedroach, glad to see its staying in the GRM family. It was nice meeting you Ted. Enjoy the Porsche!
Jeremy (pimpm3) was very easy to deal with and the car was exactly as advertised. Thanks again, Jeremy!
