That even at this price no one will bite.
Sure to be lots of excuses.
In reply to Keith Tanner :
If they're nearly rustvfree, there's a lot of 1st gen sciroccos that need patch panels. Plus the snow flakes and power trains. But, these are way past restoration
"Challenge Build" is restoration now?
I figured between the two at least one Challenge/LeMons/Gambler - thrasher would be likely.
With guys turning Miata's into Dirt cars I see super cheap* Group B Romex** replica possibilities here!
Of course you would have to be a VW fan, and I am not.
*Cheep, as cheap as any build starting from someone els's cast-off can be.
** Romex, like a Rolex, but made in China, looks almost right but will never be the real thing.

The hatches might be good, but it looks like anything that's in a rust prone area is crumpled instead. The power trains are cores at best, and anyone building up one of these would probably drop in something else from my understanding of VW Lego.
The snowflakes are definitely the best part, and they're probably still round.
I do love the Mk1 Scirocco but these are only suitable for a stunt like the yard trailer Elan.
