Another seemingly good buy on a 911 tiptronic car. Someday....

Carerra 2/4? Rare automatic with tiptronic package? that is a good price on a decent C2, though.

Agreed on the rarity comment. BUT the condition and price seem pretty decent. People write the craziest E36 M3 when selling their cars....

The color is actually a little rare. There aren't a lot of white 996 examples out there. Most are black or silver.

That's a good a good deal. A solid 996 for 13k. Looks clean and well taken care of.

How durable is the tiptronic? The car is cool, but not so precious that I'd feel bad using it as a daily driver. For me, because of stop and go, that means it has to be an auto. Could this box stand up to a daily 60mi round trip? If so, I may seriously consider a visit to my cousin in Indiana...

For automatics - the tippies are pretty solid. I'd do a filter and fluid first thing though. Some say the tiptronic somehow makes them more vulnerable to IMS failure - but I've never seen any evidence that backs it up.
