Hal,
As you know, I bought a '00 Focus Sedan recently.
What's that to the right of the steering wheel? Is it a permanent phone holder?
I have not perfected phone placement in the Focus yet for myself. Could I get some additional info and maybe a closer picture?
Thanks, John

It is a Pro-Clip mount and holder. Comes as 2 separate parts, the mount and the phone holder. Not cheap, but the best one I could find. Mount clips into the trim with no holes to drill. Good position, easy to see and reach and close enough to use hands free. I also put one in my Outback.
They have phone holders for any phone/case combination you might have. If you get a different phone, just get a new phone holder and put it on the mount you have.
Edit for pic:
I have my cord draped over it in this pic. You can get phone holders that have the power cord hook up built in.
I love this build, I wish I had the money for it.
A bump for you, sir.

Not really, just had a new fuel pump put in and changed the oil/filter, etc. Depending on how much you would drive it new tires in the fall might be needed.
That's a cool build. What's the performance like? (ever timed a 0-60 or quarter mile run?)
