Person placing ad: Me (Sean)

I have owned the car since 2009 when it had 125k miles. It has been super reliable, really only needing regular maintenance. This car has been a California car its whole life. It has never seen snow or road salt so the underside is super clean. I can take some photos for anyone interested, just PM me.

Since then I have done the following major maintenance/upgrades:

  1. Oil changes always with Mobil 1 full synthetic: every 5-7.5k miles
  2. Timing belt(s): 125k and 175k
  3. Aux belt, water pump, pulleys and tensioner: 125k and 175k
  4. Ford Racing Focus Rally rims and Conti DW tires: 135k
  5. Hawk HPS pads, Centric Rotors and OEM front calipers: 150k
  6. Wheel bearings and hubs (front and rear): 160k
  7. Koni Yellow struts/shocks & H&R race springs: 160k
  8. Prothane Urethane suspension bushings: 160k
  9. Stainless steel brake hoses: 160k
  10. Front lower control arms with ball joins: 160k
  11. Inner and outer tie rods: 160k
  12. Front sway bar end links: 160k
  13. Braille B129 battery: 170k
  14. OEM spark plugs: 170k
  15. Magnaflow Exhaust: installed by previous owner.

Included in the sale are the following:

  1. OEM SVT rims and very worn tires
  2. Stainless steel header of unknown origin from previous owner
  3. Aluminum flywheel (again of unknown origin from previous owner)
  4. Timing tools for timing belt.
  5. Any other miscellaneous SVT parts I have lying around the garage and basement

The only issues with the car is that there appears to have been a small oil leak into the cooling system and some peeling clear coat on the rear spoiler. There is still a little oil residue in the coolant expansion tank, but I haven t seen any sludgy buildup in the oil ever. Currently there is a small bead of oil around the edge of the coolant in the tank about 1/8" across.

The car has been in two minor rear-end accidents during my time owning it. Both times I was hit from behind at relatively slow speeds. Both times required a little repair work, mostly to the rear bumper cover.

The car is a blast to drive, especially with the tightened suspension. I am sad to see it go, but I am hopeful that I can sell it to someone who will take care of it and enjoy it as much as I have. Post or PM me with any questions.
