We've made one of these into a quite competitive Lemons car for what it is.  Happy to talk about how we did that, though it is harder for this as an 04 than then 06+

I've already found a 2011 Ford fusion engine (2.5 baby!). Just need to learn about the intake cam swap.

I have an adapter plate to let you use the 2.3 intake manifold on the 2.5 engine.  Yours for the cost of shipping.  Makes the swap simpler.

Got pics?  I have two sets of rx8 wheels with 225 width re71r on them.  I figured I'd use the Stampie rule and use them on both cars for the challenge.  (Shouldn't be an issue to get this car under half budget.)
