I am helping a dear friend sell his van as he's leaving the country for mission work. I have few details and no pictures yet. Stay tuned. It's a 2004 Sienna with some codes throwing a CEL. It's otherwise super clean, souther rust-free car that he used every day to ferry his children about. I've driven it and it rides better than 247K miles deserves to ride. He had a recent timing belt done.
He wants $2500. More details to come.
Please! Dallas has been talking about a van for the wife, dog, and four kids.....

He runs high mileage conventional, changes every 5000 miles and it never loses it burns any. He did the timing belt in January. Interior is amazing, it looks and smells like there were never kids in it.
He notes that the rear heater seems weak.
247000 miles. I'm driving it to work tomorrow to get some good pictures. Stay tuned. Or don't, just buy it sight unseen. It looks like a nice white sienna.
In reply to tuna55 :
Dallas just reminded me that a sienna is the Toyota minivan. Not the fullsize i thought.
Hes out. Sorry man
In reply to Dusterbd13-michael (Forum Supporter) :
He should buy it.
Here was another GRMer, 2004 Sienna with 221k that sold quickly asking $4k and that was from rusty ole Michigan not SC.

Wow.
Yeah, wow. I'll get some beauty shots and other item details tomorrow. Hopefully this thing will sell that fast. Maybe I should have asked more!!
Just to be clear, I declined any commission. I just want to help the guy. If you met him, you would too.

better pics coming this afternoon, but for now...
so, for what its worth, my sister has one of these. the V6 will surprise you. they really have a lot of scoot and eat miles like crazy. that interior looks super minty.
one time i had to borrow that van to deliver 8 standing product displays to 6 different small retailers across TN/SC/GA in a single day. for about 9 hours i put that van through hell trying to jam back and forth across the appalachians with a load of gear in the back. shrugged it off like nothing.
Looks like a nicer version of my 06 Sienna LE. I say nicer because I like the white better than the slate gray on mine, and it looks overall cleaner than mine. Mine has 191k on it, but New England is tough on vehicles. I'm assuming power sliding door on the right side only? The V6 in these ones, while not as potent as the 3.5 that replaced them is a powerful motor, and these things hustle for a big people mover.

That's right!
Come buy it. No rust to speak of, which is something no New England car can boast. I grew up in Syracuse, where salt is more prevalent than smooth asphalt.

Also the center console is like magic.

LE, but I don't yet know how to tell the difference.
CE is easy to tell because they lack tinted glass. They are the cheapest ones. The LE is the bread and butter I bet for Toyota. They have tinted glass, and some other niceties, but not much.Of course they're all easy to spot with the badging. The XLE has fancier stuff than the LE, and the Limited has even fancier stuff than the XLE. I think the LE, and up can be had with AWD or FWD. The CE I think was only FWD. Toyota sorta carries these packages to all of their vehicles, but will step out every now and then with an SE which is usually a sportier looking LE, but no real substance other than trim, and wheels. This is also the 8 passenger model like mine, but I removed the centre seat in the middle row. I wish our was the 7 passenger as the middle row gets seats with arm rest which the 8 passenger ones lack. This is a good deal at $2500 if it is as clean as it appears in the pics.
These vans need a little love at that mileage but generally we're regarded as 400k mike vehicles in service as a nyc taxi. (according to a friend who works for Toyota)
I had one up to 200k miles. It was a good car. We went with a newer one which is less reliable. Probably won't be buying a Toyota again
We have a 2005 that is approaching 200k miles. Only replaced tires and oil. We need a servo motor in the dash for AC.

OK I have an idea. You buy this and you can harvest the servo motor.

The servos are well under $2500.
