So a few weeks ago I picked up a Saab 9-2x Aero with the intent of using it as a RallyX and outdoor adventures vehicle. The car is kind of interesting since both GM and Ford had their European divisions running Japanese sourced small wagons - although the Volvo version was a bit less blatent then the fascia swap on this Saab.
My plans have shifted, in part due to finding the Saabaru to be a less then ideal vehicle for a first time stick shift driver to get comfortable with.
Ad is on Craigslist here, car is located in NoVA / DC Metro.
Highlights are:
-129k miles
-WRX power train, with a fully rebuilt engine/turbo + new clutch after the previous owner managed to get the old engine hydrolocked after driving through very high standing water. Rebuilt engine sourced from a different 9-2x Aero, I have receipts for the $7k rebuild from a local specality shop.
-New KYB Excel-G struts + Mach V springs, slightly stiffer then stock but with good damping.
-New radiator, recent Goodrich g-Force Comp 2 tires
-Loaded with leather/xenons/cold weather package.

Free bump with a few unrelated questions. If your user name is related to your real name and you grew up near the area in the map on the Craigslist ad, I think I know you. Did you live on Alliance Ln as a kid and later have a wolf hybrid about 20 years ago (that would have been the last time I actually saw/spoke to you)? Friends with Gale?

Wish I would have seen this a few days ago. If you don't mind my asking, how much? I had an '05 many years ago but sold it to fund a house purchase. Now I'm debating picking up another so I'll take all the data points I can get.
Sold it for $6.5k, I've seen a few other Aeros going for $4.5-5k in the DC area. Those tended to not have all the options packages mine had, and I was also able to ask some extra due to a fully re-built engine/turbo and new (stock+) suspension all around.
