I have a slate blue 2006 G35 sedan that needs to move along. I will be moving soon and need to slim down the fleet. I bought it about 3 years ago and have only put about 3k miles on it. New battery. Two year old Contintental Extreme Contact DW tires (have slight vibration as the car sat for about a year, but it is getting better with use). Paint and body typical for age, some scratches & door dings no major dents. Both front seats have tears in the leather on the bottom cushion which seems to be typical for these cars. Gas gauge only reads from full to 1/2 tank but at 1/2 tank it is near empty. Small passenger side valve cover leak. No oil on ground, but you can smell it when idling. Gets less noticeable if the car is driven regularly.
I have replaced both cam position sensors, both Exhaust valve timing sensors, and the crank position sensor in the last 8 months.
Asking $4000. Losing money at that price. Willing to discuss if my price is out of line.

Also, every 6MT G35 that I've driven (a handful) has had 5th gear grinding issues.
I think it is worth noting that this car is also the "Sport model"
Which means better suspension pieces as well as reclining rear seats. And the pictured rims

Yes, clutch needs replacing & I haven't had the time. I'm concerned that it may end up on the chopping block depending on whether I wind up moving across town or out of state.
Depending on what happens with selling my car at the challenge, I'm interested. I'll reach out early next week if you haven't sold it yet, I'm not sure what your time crunch is.

Me either...Expecting an out of state job offer in a week or two. Have another interview for an out of state job this week. If neither of them pan out, I still need to move to my other house here & hope to be ready to start that by Thanksgiving. Life is getting complicated, so I'm working on getting rid of stuff.

Bumping this. Sensors have not arrived yet, but I got a job offer. Need to move this. I can't take 4 cars with me.
Clear title in my hands, 2 keys & remotes.
Bumping again. SES code is P1084. Sensors have arrived, but have not been installed & probably won't be by me. I'm running out of time & have too much stuff to do before I move. I've done the cam position sensors and the crank position sensors in the past year when those codes came on, so I am pretty confident that replacing the sensor will solve the problem. Car is still driveable but has a high idle and diminished fuel economy.
I also have new front brake pads & rotors to go with it, but not needed at this time. Bought them when I was ordering parts for the front end planning to do them while in there, but it didn't need brakes (go figure). I also replaced the plastic undertray with a metal one like Toyman did in his G35 Coupe thread here...

This is NICE and the G35 I'd get if I was looking.
Sigh, that car is cool= why I can't buy it. Reclining rear seats are cool=not a great center rear seat and I have 3 kids. RWD in a sedan is super cool=big transmission tunnel right where 3rd kids feet should go. Good luck with the sale, I wish it was still cool but maybe in some way that made it work for 3 kids.
