So, you’re looking for a Toyota 4Runner. Well, I think you’ve found it.
Only 108,690 miles are on this excellent V8 example, painted in gorgeous Galactic Grey riding on 255/75R17 Cooper AT/W tires, supported by a little lift from a Daystar Comfort Ride 2.5” spring spacer kit.
You want maintenance records? I’ve got ‘um. This was lovingly maintained at a dealer by the first owner, and I babied her myself when I took ownership. The timing belt is done. That’s right, I’ll say it again: the timing belt is done. A $1500 value, yours free with the car! I’ve also got oil analysis reports from the friendly people over at Blackstone Labs singing the praises of the condition this engine is in.
Ok, ok, it’s not perfect. If you look at the picture of the back right side, you can see some scratches on the bumper. Long story, but there they are.
Oh, and I’ve got the Carfax too. Clean FL title, ready for your signature. More pictures here. $12000 for my GRM homies.

Good question, I don't ask that in Michigan, seriously a 2WD 4Runner.

They exist in large numbers, but not where we live.
I encountered this when looking for a southern Pathfinder. I automatically looked for the 4WD knob block off plate. Like finding cars with functioning AC in the north or one without in the south, we all know they are made that way, just a different set of givens for each area.
Now back to this truck, that may or may not have 4WD but will have functioning AC.
Does it have third row seats?

I'd forgotten they make 2WD T4Rs. It's full-time 4WD!

Negative.

You wanna double your number of drive wheels?
In reply to mr2s2000elise :
Dallas, Texas.
A V8 4Runner with maintenance properly done is just a baby at that odometer reading.

I'm going to regret selling it, that's for damn sure. Too big for my current needs, though.
Not in the market (have one) but one question needs to be asked:
Is the XREAS still hooked up?

Fully functional, no leaks!
Is there any concern that while the timing belt was replaced, it was replaced 6 years ago it appears? It doesn't have many miles on the belt, but it is oldish. I really like this truck, and want it.

Google's showing me tons of opinions, most in the "miles matter more" camp. Scheduled MX guide lumps it into the 90k/108 month service, implying 9 years. Had you not mentioned this (making me think about it) and I was keeping it, I planned on riding the current belt to 160k.
So either the belt needs to be changed in 3 years or, at my current rate of driving, 14!
Opinion on the 4Runner forums is that the belt interval was made 90k so it was still happening in the powertrain warranty period. It's not hard to do it yourself- there is plenty of room to work. I'd use genuine Toyota parts, though, I had a nearly new Gates tensioner go bad on me.
I wonder if any lenders would give a loan on a vehicle this old? I would love to just pay cash, but it would eat up almost all of our savings, and my wife wouldn't like that, nor would I. Would you trust it to drive from Dallas to Massachusetts?
Oooh, oooh! Sell me the REPU. You free up cash, I get a REPU.
Problems solved.

Worth a shot!
I've got to leave for business Monday for two weeks, if you'd like to put down a deposit I'll remove it from the market and we'll have two weeks to work out the details, would be nice to stay in the GRM family. PM me your email and I'll send you some walkaround videos.
It absolutely could make the trip, it towed a 3k lb trailer from Omaha to Dallas about a year ago and didn't even notice. If something breaks on the trip, give me a holler and we'll work something out. I'd maybe change the brake pads as a precaution, maybe we could work something out and I'll change them for you before you arrive?

You'd have to fight my 12 year old son to get the REPU! He's feisty !
