Quick internet searching makes me think this has the "F1 DuoSelect" automated manual trans which is supposed to be extremely troublesome.  If someone was really smart, and I know there are many folks here who are, maybe this is an engine donor for something properly bonkers, like a Boxster with a bad IMS bearing or an NC Miata?

You could probably sell the Ferrari engine and pay for the car and an LS and automatic transmission! Kind of similar to putting a small block and automatic in an old XJ6 back in the day.

There's at least $5000 in parts on that, and if it really does just need an ECM programmed that could be a great deal.
