No engine or trans, but maybe worth it for you LS-heads who probably already have a 600HP turbo motor with a trans ready to go.

you are being too kind...
no engine? LKQ will give him $350
FYI, thats not a V, just a plain Jane cts wagon.
That pile of parts may be worth a grand if it just needs body panels, but 7500 is hilarious.
Gotta love when they post the iaa watermarked photos...

yea, you gotta love that!!
The dates on the IAA pictures are 5-2020 or 1.5 year ago. I think the story here is guy buys CTS wagon with not too much damage which is why he shows the IAA pictures.
His plan is to make the V6 wagon a V8 wagon. He starts to acquire V8 parts like front and rear cradle, V8 grille and hood, recaro seats, wheels etc.
The reality is the wagon is still sitting in a field. He now wants out. All pieces and parts included, the price isn't the worst but that's what you get pieces and parts. Still missing the big parts like V8 engine and trans as well as still missing the "magic" that makes this all work in a V6 car.
I'll bet he's got near $7k in the body and those parts combined.
I think this would be a fun project. But not at that price point. I never know whether these ads are people who really think they should get that much or they're throwing a huge net and hoping for the best. If offered $1500, think he'd be mad?
wow, no kidding! I had no idea that wasn't a real V, and I also had no idea regular CTS wagons were so cheap!
here's one that runs and drives and looks ok for the same ask
