1967 Silver Eagle Bus Conversion. This a “model 01” that’s been upgraded to “model 20” exterior.

Converted in 2002 to an extremely high standard. The roof was raised 7” and all of the exterior skin/sheetmetal/bumpers/roof/glass were replaced with new and updated parts. There are no dents anywhere and all of the compartment doors are now side hinged.

The paint job cost $20k in 2002 and still looks fantastic today having been stored indoors since it was painted. It was just moved to outside storage (8/25/24) because the home where it was stored has been sold.

A 500 HP electronically controlled series 60 Detroit Diesel/Allison 4-speed auto trans replaces the original 8V71/manual in 2007. Only 55,xxx miles have been added since. The engine is equipped with Jake Brakes.

There is a 12 kW Yanmar diesel powered generator, 5 AC units (2 basement, 2 low profile roof-top and 1 dashboard, (the dash air needs a recharge) a 20 gallon electric water heater, gas furnace, gas stove, double fridge/freezer combo (gas or electric), an auxiliary refrigerator is mounted in an outside compartment, a fully tiled shower, full size porcelain toilet, queen bed, fold-out sofa, two TVs, roof top TV antenna system and a AM/FM stereo.

There are two (2) fuel tanks (150 and 55 gallon) with transfer pumps between them, (2)10 gallon propane tanks with automatic switching, 100 gallon waste tank (gray and black combined), airbags assist rear suspension, electric leveling jacks, cruise control, electric sun visors, windshield privacy curtains, backup camera, two battery banks, battery charger and a battery master switch

Only 55k miles added since the engine conversion. The last road trip was pre-Covid.

This bus starts right up and idles smoothly. Goes up hills like they’re not even there even when towing a car (car tow rig included but may need to be adapted to your towed vehicle). You could move your personal belonging in and drive across the country. Approx 10 MPG and over 200 gallons of fuel equals long distances between fill ups.

The bus is currently registered and insured in California. Can be seen in Concord, CA by appointment. All of the equipment, tools, supplies, kitchenware, bedding, etc, onboard is included.

$75,000 obo. Seriously for sale. Dennis - 925-eight oh eight-9566
