Crap, and it's not too far from Indy.....
I don't need another project, I don't need another project, I don't need another project. If I say this enough, can I convince myself?
Oh dear Lord Almighty. I've been looking for this exactly, a '74 (no smog in California), SL (not an SLC), and cheap. Perfect for an LS swap. Or an Allison Aircraft engine.
Fortunately it's 2/3's the way across the country and I'm buried right now. But E36 M3, that would be fun...

If it's anything like the one I had, no way is a SBC going to get around the huge steering box.

Thank you. Seriously. Thank you.
This is the stumbling block I needed to dismiss the mental gymnastics I've been going thru trying to figure out how to drag this thing home/store it/ find the time to build it.
Whew, that was close.

I’d be more worried about recreating the floors from firewall back than engineering an LS swap. They rust when they are cared for, let alone when they aren’t.
