Just remember that Coronet 440 is the trim level, not the engine.size.
I can't tell from the pictures on my phone, but that's probably a 273.
That's a lot of car for $600. Assuming one can straighten out the paperwork. Man. 318's a great engine, too. That should get almost 20 mpg on the highway.
If someone here doesn't buy int quickly, rest assured that car will show up again in 2 weeks with some cheap new tires, running, for $3k.

The 318 didn't come along until 1968, so it may have been swapped in.

Not true.
The LA 318 was available in 1967 MY US automobiles.
My '67 Coronet still has its original LA 318 in it.
Glad that's over 1200 miles away. Although, wife in in N.Y. visiting daughter and new baby. Maybe she would bring it home. Maybe not.
