Selling this 84 VW Rabbit project car with everything needed to get it running, plus spares, and an extra set of wheels and tires if sold for asking price of $2000. Located in Chesapeake VA. Reason for selling is I have too many other things I need to work on, and I dont have the time/resources/motivation to get this to where I want it any time soon. I really should never have bought it in the first place.
It has an OBD2 ABA motor, swap was done by one of the POs. I was working on a standalone electric cooling system using a Davies Craig pump and controller, custom water inlet block/ABF-style alternator mount from IABED , and AFCO radiator with shroud and fan. Just those parts alone cost me more than half of what I'm asking. It comes with an older, expired Sparco Pro 2000 seat with mounts for the driver side, and some kind of old Momo bucket seat for the passenger side that fits in the stock mounting system (could use reupholstering). I also have a Planted seat bracket for the passenger side. Suspension is old Koni yellows with some red springs (not sure of brand). Im sure there is more to say about it, but I'll just wait till I get some questions and go from there. Now some pics:
