I had a 90 GT for a few years around '94, when the Camaro died. Interior pieces kept falling apart, the driver door plastic was always having to be scooped up to close the door. And from day one there was a weird light clunk in the rear brakes, over the years quite a few places tried to find it. Ended up being a drum that had a hairline crack that only showed up with lots of heat.
It was still fun for awhile.
I worry that I will own something like this one day.
Those cars that I actively hated when they were ubiquitous, that disappeared for over a decade. Now when I see a clean one I get strangely curious.
There is a mint, septuagenarian owned late 80's Celebrity Eurosport station wagon on the south side of town. If it ever appears with a for sale sign in the window I will probably buy it. I will likely hate it, but I don't think I could stop myself from making the purchase.
