Yes, that would be the logical answer... but what if: LS4 FWD setup from GXP or SS car?

I won't poop on a 3800SC idea though that would be a giggle inducing good time.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. 

If you're going to do the work of a middie swap in a reatta, you really should just turn the engine around and drive the car backward. Look how the window glass angles are exactly the same. Pop up taillights anyone?
