Never heard of this thing. Its like a Ford Flex before the Flex was a thing, but also with a tiny engine

Yet another Rando japanese vehicle. I dig it and see it as being lifted or lowered if it were in my stable.
Engine1.5 L GA15DE I4 - 104Hp
1.8 L SR18DE I4
2.0 L SR20DE I4Transmission4-speed automatic
5 speed manual
The above list of powertrain sounds like a motor swap or copious forced inducted is needed.
We have a '97 at the Museum, it's basically a B14 Sentra underneath.
4WD with the feeling of nature and the sense of urban, having a wide range of activities as daily space

It takes a bit of inspiration from Wartburg
Seem like an efficient design. Square dimensions for interior efficiency. Spare tire outside for max interior utility. Roof rack for cargo expansion.

nailed it! you should write ads for japanese vehicles.
Counting myself as no exception here, isn't it funny how our brains work sometimes?
Never-seen-one-before foreign-market tall-ish car-based crossover utility vehicle thing with quirky styling? YES, that's so cool!
American-market tall-ish car-based crossover utility vehicle thing with quirky styling?....NO, ugh! Gimme sedans and hatchbacks!

Japan did some really really out there stuff for a little more than a decade, Japanese economy was at an all time high. Crashed in the early 2000s. This guy was right in the middle of that decade.
Look up Nissan's Pike factory cars.

Oh, I'm fully in the know...I love bubble-era quirky Japanese stuff! I currently own two '95 Suzuki Cappuccinos, because who wants to suffer through a boring ol' Miata? And I've got a couple of JDM bikes, an '88 GSXR250, because who wants to endure a boring ol' Ninja 250, plus a '92 Suzuki Goose 350, because how could anyone even ride something like an American-market GS500 or SR500?
