98 Audi A4 - Free to GRM (Sammamish)
Ok here is a nice chance to drive and fix the car at the same time. I got the car and have replaced the rotors and pads with new ones, Replaced the rear passenger wheel bearing, Installed a newer ABS controller and pump as it was bad when I got it.
As you can see from the pictures I missed replacing the tires by 2 day's. Had a low speed spin resulting in some bent sheet metal. Drove it home with no issues after the incident.
It has some Bilstein sports shocks and I think some B&G springs under it. It did have a nice S4 bumper cover on it before the incident. What is left of the bumper goes with the car.
The car does have a few electrical issues that are repairable. One is the sunroof doesn't open. I haven't looked into this but think it's the switch that is bad. The other is the temperature gauge reads backwards. Was working on this and have gotten it down to a grounded wire in the harness from the temperature sensor. The sensor has been replaced with a new one.
CEL is on which it just came on for low secondary air. This is the pump going out.
The paint isn't the best either. Washed it at the car wash a couple days after getting it and it blew off the top half of the cars clear coat. Was just going to clear paint it down to the edge and cut and polish it in with the existing clear. The only thing that needed paint was the hood and bumper. Hood still needs it bumper needs help.
The car has the 2.8 ltr 30v motor. The big plus is it runs strong and has only 159k on it. The rest of the running gear is in good shape as well.
Just need it gone and I refuse to give it to pick-n-pull.
. How is it structurally? I assume since you were apparently making it your daily that its not a rust-bucket that's about to break in half? And it wouldn't offend you if I made it a rallycross car?
