Anyone ready for a bank account black hole?

I did the same thing. I was only starting to parse the "'03" part as I clicked...
RockAuto has front air struts for a little over $400 (each, I assume?) or a conversion kit (to "normal" struts, I assume) for ~$1500. In an attempt to provide more than "I wish this was a tiny sports car." I mean, it's undeniably kinda cool.
If that Airmatic system is anything like the Airmatic system on der Scheißwagen, those Arnott units for $300 each will work as good as OEM and have a lifetime warranty. I can't believe I'm saying this, but the Airmatic system isn't anything to be too afraid of.
So many people are quick to toss all the air suspension stuff on any air suspended car but they're really not that bad or hard to keep functional.

These? https://www.autohausaz.com/pn/14337803-AI-220320541388?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=feed_Mercedes&gclid=Cj0KCQjw6pOTBhCTARIsAHF23fLNnqqSA79evsH3k9ltkV_PTCbI2ABDyNZti4GTNi3k0QuADkxyiusaAknLEALw_wcB
In reply to Evanuel9 :
Yeah, those are the ones. The rebuilt Arnott ones - it looks like there might be some different suspension packages with different strut bodies, but still way cheaper than OEM and a better ride than converting to springs.
In reply to chandler :
I don't get on GRM as much as I used to, but a v12 Benz post usually gets my attention. I picked up another fun Benz last week.
In reply to Cotton :
I need to stop by and check it out. Want to sell me the Benz engine that you have in the garage?
In reply to yupididit :
Swing on by!
The euro 4.5? Or the v12 out of the old s600? Either way I should probably move some of these engines on I haven't done anything with.
