I could do without the stretch/poke and Bassett wheels.
Other than that, it is a good looking automobile.
I like the wheels.. don't like the stretched look.. don't know how it spits flame with that engine...
I'm so glad I clicked on that ad as the text is worth the price of admission. I've added the paragraphs where appropriate to ease the read.
"Feast your eyes on what can only be described as the epitome of a hipsters wet dream in Swedish form! What are you looking at exactly? Are you an idiot? OF COURSE NOT! What lays before your gazing eyes and quivering lips is the mac daddy of Swedish safety, a 93' Volvo 240 sedan! But this isn't your grandma's old 240, nobody singing along to Abba in this slick ride. It may get driven like we're driving her to church, but who said you can't look badass in the process???
Not only is this bad boy gloss black, which is punk rock as hell, but it's decked out with IPD lowering springs and Bilstein Touring suspension so you're basically the Stig's Swedish cousin. That not your style? Of course not, you're a man of many tastes. Have a look at the wheels! Tucked underneath some sick ass flares those are 15x10 -35 Bassett race steelies for that Nascar fan at heart that knows Dale isn't dead, he's just 3 laps ahead. Still not cool enough? Take a look at the rear, some Euro spec taillights and a flame hurlingly massive chrome pipe! That's right! FLAMES! Mama didn't raise no wuss!
If the outside doesn't have you salivating like Ikea's meatballs have a peek on the inside. Clean as can be, maybe a good vacuum will do but who knows? Maybe I'll get around to that before you buy it (I will). And not only are the seats in perfect shape, those lazy boys on wheels are heated!
Worried all the local ladies won't be able to see the stud behind the wheel? It's got power windows baby! How's that for luxury?
I'd trust the brick of Swedish metal to take me all the way back to hipster Homeland of Portland if it had to! Springs, struts, exhaust (had holes), clutch, starter, battery, plugs, wires, distributor, alternator bracket, and belts have all been replaced in the last 1000 miles.
This beauty also has a mountain of parts that have not yet been installed yet. None affect the drivability of the car, I just bought them to replace whenever it may have needed them. I'm getting married here soon so the brick has to go. This car has been great to me in the last 6 months of ownership and it's been a fun project getting it back up to snuff.
It's a 26 year old car so it has it's dings and dents but all small things aside it shines up and works great. This could be your next great daily, a car to learn stick on, project with the boys! If you know these cars they're great, they run forever and this is a perfect example. Aside from the usual ticks she runs just like the day she came off the lot. If you have any questions or would like to come check this chick magnet out feel free to shoot me a text! I'm firm on my price and I'm not looking for trades. Thanks!!! "
