I don’t know if any of you are interested, but here is my NC for your perusal.
It’s the one I picked up down in TN last summer and installed a 2007 motor in. I had a setback with the wiring but it’s pretty well sorted now. If you’re in the market for one and have questions shoot me an email at Armstrong 390 at the yahoo exchange.
Extras include factory NC GT wheels with RE-71s, factory springs (to take it back to CS), a set of leatherette seat covers, and any random NC parts I accumulated since buying it (even the bad original motor).
The car isn’t perfect but it seems solid and reliable. Way quicker than 138 rwhp should be (dyno tested). Price is set for internet randoms, i’d Knock off a grand for any of you to help it along. I’m shopping for corvettes now and need to free up garage space.
Bump for the weekend. Anyone? Beuller. Beuller.
Comments, advise, snide remarks?
That made me laugh out loud!
To anybody who isn't familiar with the o.p., I'm pretty sure that was a joke.
Looks like a nice car! What was the wiring deal?
Glws.

Made me laugh too. Spool is a case.
When I initially was installing the wiring harness I didn’t know where everything went so I hooked the alternator cable to the firewall (it fit really well that way and looked like a ground). Apparently this was mad juju and when I connected the battery I let the magic smoke out of the harness.
So I bought a new harness and took it to a professional to have replaced and wired correctly. It sucked but the car has a fully replaced harness now (body and engine).
Man, middle of winter is the wrong time to try and sell a Miata.

I've got a low mileage silver NC I'll sell you. Minor rearend damage.
Lol
Glad the parts helped get this one back on the road!
Been a lot of rain lately, surely someone out there needs a “boat”. I put the factory springs back on this weekend for extra deep water clearance (or to be legal for CS, whatever). The Autocross season is coming soon and i’d like this car to be someone else’s because I have my ADD eye on something else. $6500 with both sets of wheels. $6,000 on factory wheels and I keep the Koenigs.
Good price, I just have no reason to purchase it.
This thing is awesome! I'd love to own a Miata(MX-5) some day, but I don't think my fat ass would fit very well. Good luck with the sale, wish I could fit.
Factory springs and bilsteins. GT wheels and RE-71s. All set for autocross season.
$6,000 as it sits.
NC still available?
If so, any additional photos, current price and location?
Thank you
In reply to khummel3 :
Still available, pics are current, $6,000 on the silver wheels with old RE-71s mounted, $6,500 on the black Koenigs. Located in Lexington KY.
Pic from Sunday’s autocross. She was very respectable and easy to drive. Fresh tires would have had me at 2nd in PAX and top 5-6 in raw.
Bump just cause. How about a sexy new price $5500? Any cheaper and I may as well just keep it as a DD and keep the miles off the STR car but two Miatas seems excessive and my total is too high. Someone buy and awesome summer ride!
A friend of mine looking to get into track days etc is very interested. I think he emailed you, Chris from Milwaukee. NCs seem like a lot of car for the money!

I haven't seen anything from him. Armstrong390 at the yahoo exchange
Appreciate the offer but the reason I got into Miatas was that I got off my last bike.......at 60 mph.

Sooooooo, my lady's family lives in Mount Sterling. Bit of a drive from Asheville, but family...
Learn me about why you dropped in a new dino-burner? Is it a NC motor?
In reply to AaronT :
The car and I are in Lexington. Mt. Sterling is maybe 30 minutes away.
The motor is an actual NC mill. It just has about 15K fewer miles on it than the original. The old motor “went bad” per the previous owner. I bought the car as a project and put it back together.
