This is owned by a guy in our local group, looks like a really nice (though high mileage) car. These 128 manuals are getting harder to find (esp M-Sport!), and we absolutely love ours. If we had room, this one would get added to the stable, but alas.

My son drives a 2010 128i M-sport and loves it (as do I)! Such great cars.
I've been kind of looking for a cheap one. Any idea why the front bumper is not lined up well with the fender? Does he have the Carfax?

No idea, but happy to ask! Feel free to message him directly on FB and you can mention Steve from Gorilla Garage as well.
Whew, for a second, I thought you were selling yours.

NEVER!!! The boys actually got to autocross it with PCA this weekend, was a total blast. Now to get the new suspension installed!

Ours has TC Kline coilovers and I don't recommend them.

We're just going with Bilstein B4's/MSport springs, and the M3 arms kit from FCP Euro. It's all original at 160k miles, so just going to unbolt it all and throw it in the trash, then reassemble with new.
Any recommendations for braided stainless brake lines?

I just replaced my (former base now mostly M-sport) 128i suspension with the Bilstein B4/M-Sport springs last weekend and will eventually do the M3/1M front arms as well. Wish I had held out to find a manual but they command a nice premium. Rides so much better with fresh suspension..

These are epic cars. In my opinion a perfect size. I drove a modified 135i and loved it. I feel like the 128i is even better.
Having had mine for about a year now, I completely agree. The size is perfect, powerful enough to be fun, handling is great and the electronic "nannies" are pretty minimal a modern car (at least modern by my standards). Love mine, great to see they can go for 221K and that the interior and mechanics are still running strong. Mine has less than 80K so this car will be with me for a long time as I don't commute to work anymore, so this is my daily. Looks like a good deal for a well maintained E82!
And it looks like this one for sale is pending already, no big shock here. Glad to see all the love for the 1'er in this thread!!
