Friend of mine has one about to go for sale at a reasonable price. Guess if somone wanted to build a challenge car, the above add would serve as a FMV touchpoint.

They are kinda cool cars in their own right. Not very inspiring from a performance point of view, but the style works and there might be a way to get an LS 4 drivetrain in there for not much $$$. 

We had a Reatta show up to a BMW CCA HPDE event once. I remember that around midday, it was up on jack stands with 4 wheels of melted brakes (but it probably was running stock everything).

Not in Canada. We pay more for junk on average than y'all do down in the biker bar.

I read the title as challenge regatta at first and was thinking how fun a race of sub $2000 boats would be.
