That's about the average going price for vtec Minis. It may take awhile to find a buyer, but it'll sell. I've seen a few with lower prices, many with higher.
The person buying a vtec mini has no interest in a used (or new) Vette. So the price doesn't compare.

GRM logic is to build a vtec Mini using junkyard parts for a grand sum of $2014 (although finding a useable Mini shell in the States for $2000 is getting tough). But to question the asking price of a completed and sorted (ha!) car and comparing that price to any other car simply shows a lack of research on the subject. I've seen very nice examples sell for more. Much more.
