MGB front plus those giant Kelsey-Hayes calipers plus SBC makes me think that is an Arntz kit from the late 1970's. Arntz worked for Shelby back in the day.
Where dreams go to die... apparently, VOA auctions.
I'll guess this was someone's "someday" project for a long time. And, then the dreamer passed away.
guesses of what i will be bid to ?
I am thinking $4000-$5000 and hope that the small parts are there like door guts etc

Hard to say with this auction. If a couple people that really want it show up it could get to $4-5k. Or nobody will want a project like this and it will go cheap.
I want that.
I don't need it, im not close enough, and just bought a van for the wife.
Anyone wanna go and bid $800 for me, then drop it off at Patricks in the middle of the night?

I'm going just to see what it goes for, the auction is only a couple miles from my house. If it is going that cheap I will definitely bid on it.
In reply to EvanB :
If it goes that cheap, ill seriously be kicked in the nuts by my wofe for PayPaling the money to you, and by Patrick for not getting his permission first....

You already have kids right?
Worth it.
Dang I need to get to one of these auctions someday.
You could buy the Cobra and the Lincoln Continental, and build a DOHC front-wheel-drive Cobra.

LMFAO, exactly my thoughts Adrian.

*I'd* like to be the next "that guy"

Or go over tomorrow during the preview hours, 11-1 and see if there are issues with the body or chassis.
I didn't make it to the auction today to see what it went for.
I was at the preview yesterday and took a brief look at it. There were a number of people around it. It looked about like the pictures. A pile of possibly usable parts and a fiberglass body with no trim parts.
There is something coming up at the auction in two weeks that I am more interested in and likely came from the same donor.
You'll need to log in to post.
